💕MY FAV Procreate brushes ✨
[11 types of brushes for digital painting in procreate]
1. sketch
this brush is perfect for sketching!
the texture is like a soft pencil
you can use it as a line-art brush as well✨
2. oval
oval-shaped brush, perfect for colouring, sketching, and even drawing details!
there is no texture so you can use it as a soft brush for rendering
depending on the pressure, it can be used as a hard brush as well!
it's my go-to for a quick drawing✨
3. canvas
great brush for adding some extra ✨texture✨
4. pencil
the pencil brush
sharp and clean, so you can use it to create stable lines or loose sketches
5. basic paint
the brush I use for painting 80% of the time!
it's great for coloring and blending
6. basic paint (hue)
it's the same painting brush but with a settings made for extra colourful painting
each stroke has a slightly different shade so you don't have to create a lot of palettes, and if you are struggling with shading (if you think your shading looks too grey/messy), you should try to work with this brush in combination with other brushes.
7. round
it is basic round brush but I figured the perfect setting for using it as a multipurpose brush - some would think it is perfect for line art, some - for coloring! I love to use it as a rendering brush and adding details, also from time to time I make sketches with it✨
8. textured
depending on the pressure, the texture of this brush can be adjusted.
it has a grain canvas-like grainy texture to add some movement into your drawing💕
9. wet
wet brush for people who used to draw in clip studio/paint tool said (it is almost exact as a Market brush in SAI)
it blends well and has a wet finish with a little bit of texture depending on the pressure!
10. drawing
this brush is similar to crayon or pastel, it has a traditional looking texture
you can use it for quick drawing of anatomy and observational sketches, or in contrary - for detailed drawing with lots of texture in it. it blend very well!
11. eraser
my fav eraser with pretty texture, it can be very soft and grainy or more hard depending on the pressure!
